Description
While close to the heart of Ivry-la-Bataille, the place offers enough isolation to avoid any inconveniences from the neighbours. The tree garden is the ideal place to unwind and relax in the summer. (Barbecue and garden furnitures are available).
The whole building rests on a small island on the river Eure, accessible via a private bridge. The lodge is decorated and furbished around the theme of musical factory (documents, old postcards, instrument display cases…
Located in the birthplace of French instrument manufacture, the old Thibouville-Frères factory (19th-20th century was specialized in the construction of woodwind instruments : clarinets, flutes, oboes, cor anglais, bassoon, musettes, flageolets) used hydraulic power (water wheel, still running). Now transformed into a cottage, the Island of Thibouville is welcoming you.
